Geeks will find this interesting. Some samplers -

 Thus spake the master programmer:

“After three days without programming, life becomes meaningless.”

“Let the programmers be many and the managers few – then all will be productive.”

“Though a program be but three lines long, someday it will have to be maintained.”

Anand this is offtopic. Just wanted to congratulate on your initiative.
1. Going back to India place to be
2 Starting Blurp. I think the UI is awesome
3. I like the idea of local reviews nothing new in US markets basically yelp of India. I would really think about verticals like menupages to expand from there. May be you have though through.
4. Why do you limit the cities. Open it up to other regions. Think Wikipedia, Community and what not.

Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog. At burrp!, we have some great plans for the future. Not only are we working on enhancing the review site significantly, we are also launching a TV listings product that will help users select their favorite shows and setup alerts and reminders.

The Wikipedia model works when there are many eyeballs looking at the content. A part of the reason we haven’t opened up the city creation to the users is to ensure the quality of the content stays consistent. We are really proud of the deep meta-data that we’ve accumulated for our listings.
