Taken for a ride on Air Deccan

Do you know that the Kingfisher flights that are operated by Air Deccan (yeah yeah, whatever the hell it means) are actually just the regular Air Deccan flights. I learned this the hard way this morning. I paid about Rs. 600 more thinking that I am booking a Kingfisher flight. Little did I notice the fine print that the flight was operated by Air Deccan. Baah!

So basically, they had the same flight listed as both a Air Deccan flight (cheaper) and Kingfisher flight (pricier). Aargh!

Like every dark cloud that comes with a silver lining, my flight had assigned seating and reached 10 minutes before schedule – which makes up for not having TV or food. I slept thoroughout the journey anyways.

Thanks Capt. Gopinath and Vijay Mallya, I was glad to be part of your experiment in price targeting trick.
