Scott Adams (the Dilbert guy) asks a very interesting question about a person’s Permanent Age. Here is a snippet:
Some people are kids all their lives. They will admit they are 12-years old. Other people have always had senior citizen interests and perspectives. If you’re 30-years old in nominal terms, but you love bingo and you think kids should stop wearing those big baggy pants and listening to hip-hop music, your permanent age might be 60.
The post got me thinking as to what would be my permanent age? I think mine swings between 12 and 30. 12 when I am just too excited about something, 30 when the rational mind takes over.
Maybe I should ask people who know me personally.
Mine would be 15, I am 15, and I think it will remain 15 all my life!
Ditto for me! Swinging between 12 and 30, excitement and rationality!
mine’s always 16! maybe its something to do with the sweet 16 phrase being stuck on my mind
